Surf Lessons

Surf Camps

What age groups do you teach?

Our Hamlet Homes company trip in 2021 was to Huntington Beach and we had surf lessons from Clint Carroll Surf School for anyone who wanted to do it and everyone loved it. The instructors were experts, who were fun and patient with all of us amateurs, and we all had an amazing time (though most of us were out of shape and sore afterwards). Would highly recommend lessons for anyone with Clint and his team.

Took 2 16 years olds for their first time surfing. Blaise did a great job getting them out into the water and up on boards within 10 minutes. They had blast! Organized and well done! Highly recommend! They couldnt wait to go again. We returned today for additional lessons.

Mom and son surf lessons for my 13 yr old and me. John was flexible and quickly adapted the lesson to our ability. We were both riding waves in the first few minutes on the water, and stayed out for two hours. It was a great intro to surfing. We will be back for more advanced lessons.

Don't buy the Groupon!! I found them on Groupon, read some reviews that said to just call for the same rates, and decided to give them a call. Was the best decision ever, I've had 3 lessons and my fourth is already scheduled. Their rates are the cheapest I've seen by far in the OC/LA/SD area, but quality definitely isn't compromised. They have group & individual lessons for surfing, as well as lesson packages, and Clint offers these options without making you feel pressured to do one thing or another. I've gotten a lot of my friends to join in on lessons and Clint

I bought a Groupon for a group lesson for 2 on Sept.30. I tried to get my boys into classes unsuccessfully. Left 3 messages and emailed via the contact form on their website. Nobody ever returned my calls or email. Eventually got a refund from Groupon because I could not redeem.

Hi. We bought a 2 hour private surf lesson for 1. When my son called to make an appointment, Clint Carroll offered to give my son a "private" lesson for an additional $35. He said the other private lesson we bought is actually in a group. My son, being naive, paid two additional $35 for him and his sister. When they went out to surf, it was the two of them with 1 instructor. Not only did we get the bait and switch, we ended up not getting the private lesson.

Clint Carroll was extremely rude and condescending.
