Vine-to-bottle has been a fundamental part of our winemaking philosophy for more than 30 years, long before it was hip to be farm-to-table, or in our case, grape-to-glass. We know that Wisconsin's best wine begins in the vineyard and that in Wisconsin, great wine can only be made from the grapes that grow well in our climate.
We are an original vine-to-bottle Wisconsin winery and one of only a handful with estate vineyards producing authentic Wisconsin wine. But it wasn't the first time that our wines have earned this prestigious designation by an independent, third-party expert. In its feature The United States of Wine, Epicurious.com named Botham Vineyards' 2012 Uplands Reserve Wisconsin's BEST wine.
