Community Theater Programs for Youth in Kapolei
Founded in 2004, the Performing Arts Center Kapolei (PACK) has grown from a small after-school program into a respected 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to educate, challenge, enrich, and inspire young people and the community through extraordinary theater experiences. We produce up to four shows annually, engaging students of all ages across Hawaii. Our commitment to equality ensures a welcoming environment for all participants, regardless of background or identity. Located at Kapolei High School, we foster creativity, collaboration, and personal growth through the performing arts. With a team of dedicated volunteers, we strive to transform students into respectful, resilient, and responsible adults who carry a lifelong appreciation for theater. Our programs are funded through production fees, ticket sales, and generous community contributions. We actively seek individuals who align with our values of imagination, transformation, and community to join our mission. PACK believes theater has the power to inspire, heal, and build a more inclusive society.

Participants gain confidence through collaborative productions that emphasize creativity and personal growth. Our curriculum aligns with educational standards while fostering artistic expression in a supportive environment.
Summer Theater Workshops
Intensive summer programs provide immersive theater training in acting, directing, and technical production. Students work with experienced mentors to develop performance skills and stagecraft expertise. These workshops culminate in showcase presentations that demonstrate participants' artistic progress and teamwork.
Community Productions
Annual theatrical productions featuring youth performers and community members. We produce 3-4 major shows yearly, including classic musicals and contemporary works. These productions offer practical experience in all aspects of theater while entertaining local audiences with high-quality performances.
Audition Training
Specialized preparation for aspiring performers seeking roles in our productions. Training includes monologue development, vocal technique, and stage presence coaching. Our instructors help students build audition confidence and performance skills that meet professional theater standards.
