We were so excited by the difference freshly ground spices made in our recipes, we immersed ourselves in research. We took different paths, but landed at Smith & Truslow with a shared passion for health and fitness, good times and travel, great wine and food. For years Jean Gleason worked at high gear in corporate America, but since transplanting herself in Colorado, has come to realize and enjoy the benefits of a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

To maximize freshness, store in a dark airtight container in a cool dry place. Once the spice is ground, flavor deteriorates with exposure to light, heat, air, humidity and time. Refills arrive in air-tight plastic bags. Simply snip a corner of your bag, refill your Smith & Truslow jar, apply the new label and recycle the bag.
