I'm so glad you decided to visit my Reiki site! This gives me the opportunity to tell you about my unique approach to Reiki therapy and training and how I might help you. As a Reiki practitioner and master teacher, I've helped people de-stress and heal for nearly two decades. I've seen the benefits of Reiki be effective beyond my expectations.
Reiki has enabled me to promote faster recovery from ailments ranging from respiratory infections to tendonitis and anxiety to sleep disorders. In addition to treating and helping people, I find joy in teaching students who come to learn Reiki. I challenge myself to teach in a way that not only informs but also empowers.

About Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The practitioner transfers healing energy by placing her hands on or above the recipient who lies fully clothed on a massage table. Reiki Treatments are usually in a dimly lit room with soothing music playing to heighten relaxation.

Reiki is transferred from Reiki Master Teachers to students through a series of attunements. Attunements, commonly referred to as "energy transmissions" adjust the vibrations of the Reiki student to the higher vibrations of the Reiki power, so that more energy can flow through the body. This process opens up an individual permanently to the Reiki energy so that one can give Reiki treatments to self and others.

Dr. Memet Oz was one of the first surgeons to allow Reiki to be performed in his operating room in the late 1990s. When I tell my Reiki students and clients about this, I kid them that I knew about Dr. Oz way before Oprah did! Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire has provided over 8,000 Reiki treatments since 1995.
