The range of aluminum extrusion applications at Coltwell is an endless amount. From our smallest press size at 110 tons, to our largest at 6500 tons, we consider no shape too large or too small for the extrusion process. Large variety of presses available for production allows for some of the shortest lead times in the industry.
Custom Extrusions

In addition to standard profiles, we also produce custom shapes that have been specifically designed by our customers for their own product. Enclosures, heat sinks, telescoping tubes, trim molding, lighting fixtures and odd shaped hollows and solids are examples of custom profiles manufactured by Coltwell for our customers.
Extruded Tubing

Coltwell Industries offers a variety of open tooling for standard and non-standard extruded tubing. Standard dies available for tubing in round, square, rectangle, hexagonal, and octagonal shapes. Coltwell prides itself on high quality and reliability of all products, and offers competitive pricing and lead-times to meet customer needs.
Welded Tubing

Welded Tubing provides aluminum tube customers with an alternative to drawn and extruded tube. Welded tube is on average 15% stronger than extrusions and can offer equal and sometimes greater strength at lower gauges. Welded tubing is utilized many applications such as outdoor furniture, healthcare equipment, household fixtures, and athletic accessories.
Telescoping Tubing

Coltwell Industries has the ability to supply close tolerance aluminum tubing that is best used in custom telescoping tubing applications. By controlling the inside diameter and wall dimensions of the female tube, as well as controlling the outside diameter of the male tube, Coltwell can supply tubes with a smooth, slip fit ideal for telescoping applications.
