My daughter has been a camper at WeHaKee Camp for Girls for six years, and spent her last summer as a camper at Winter Lake this past summer. We were so afraid she was going to miss this opportunity with COVID ruining the prior years plans, but Bob and Maggie and all of WeHaKee made this a summer to remember. Their protocols created a safe environment for the campers with a great sense of normalcy. I always appreciate that the camp provides my daughter a safe space to be herself, grow into the young woman she is, develop her leadership skill, all while being completely disconnected from social

My daughter loves this camp and requests to go every year! The Brauns and their team are very organized and caring people that provide the campers with an amazing experience and an assortment of fun activities all day long. In addition, the girls learn so many valuable life lessons; they come home exhausted, more mature and detoxed from electronics!! Thank you Bob, Maggie and team for all your hard work and perseverance every year to provide a beautiful safe fun place for the girls! We appreciate you!

My 16 daughter was a first time Wehakee camper this year and she loved it. She says the food was amazing, and the activities were really fun! She especially loved "cabin nights"; these evenings gave her a chance to really bond with her cabin mates and forge strong connections. Her favorite cabin night was when they did yoga on paddleboards! She had a wonderful time!! As a parent, I found their organization, communication, and covid safety protocols to be excellent. I highly recommend WeHaKee Camp for Girls!

My daughter, Jocelyn, attended WeHaKee coming from Connecticut from June 21, 2021 until August 6, 2021! Aside from never being away from home, and staring off homesick, she had a fantastic time! Between all the activities they fill their time with, they still get the camp favorites of togetherness, bonfires, and fun! Jocelyn loved being able to meet other girls, not just from all over the US...but from all over globe! She had an amazing time, and experience. Loved Bob and Linda, and all her counselors. She is truly looking forward to going back next summer and every summer for the foreseeable

My daughter has attended Camp Wehakee for 6 yrs and it has always been the highlight of her summer! She has made incredible friendships, gained confidence, learned leadership skills and has developed advocacy awareness. This has all been among fellow campers and staff of different ethnicities, countries, socioeconomic and educational levels in the most incredibly nurturing and supportive environment you can imagine. I have had the opportunity to volunteer as camp pediatrician for a week the last 6 years and can tell you first hand that Bob & Maggie truly care for each of the campers and counselors
