Escape rooms are based on "escape the room" video games in which the player is locked inside a room and must explore their surroundings in order to escape. Players must be observant and use their critical thinking skills to escape the room. Other inspirations include adventure board games and movies.

La Crosse Escape Room is the western Wisconsin's Premier escape room experience! Since we are located in the old historic Batavian Bank building, we thought it was only fitting that our first room be a Bank Heist taking place in a room where the original vault used to be! As we grow we will add additional rooms.

Just as before, you can sign the waiver prior to coming in. But it will now be highly encouraged to do so. We will update our confirmation email with more emphasis and make sure to tell every customer on the phone. For those that aren't able to, we will walk you through how to sign it on your phone.

We've now done five different rooms a La Crosse Escape Room, all four of their current rooms plus an older one that is no longer offered. We are very experienced players of escape rooms/games, and found the rooms at La Crosse Escape Rooms to be fun and challenging. I will say that with the four rooms that they currently have, each has their own level of difficulty.
