Dance Training

NutRemix Performances
Innovative annual production reimagining classical ballet through Memphis cultural heritage. Combines Tchaikovsky's score with Beale Street aesthetics for family-friendly performances. Presented in partnership with major corporate sponsors.

What age groups do you serve?
We provide dance training for students aged 6-18 through our school programs and summer intensives.
Are scholarships available?
All programs are offered on a sliding scale tuition model with full scholarships available based on need.

This is an amazing school! Founded by Mrs. Katie Smythe, it has an excellent staff that is professionally knowledgeable of all genres of dance. Everyone is so friendly and courteous. When you walk in the door, you will be greeted by Mrs. Cathy, the delightful administrative secretary. This is a wonderful school for any child to explore their creativity. Dances taught are ballet, tap, hip-hop, and many more. There also is a learning room for the kids to do their homework before practice or just interact. In November, I look forward to their annual production of the "Nut Remix " at the Cannon Center

We have been a part of this school for 6 years. Even though we moved to Mississippi from midtown Memphis, we will continue to drive for our children to complete their dance education at this wonderful school. They are a second family to us and we could not imagine being anyone where else!
