I am a general dentist and I have never had such negligent work returned to me by a lab. In a two week period they returned three crown cases to me where the margins of the crown were 1-1.5mm long of the margin that was well captured in the impression. I pride myself in providing quality impressions with well captured margins free of voids and with plenty of emergence profile. This should allow the lab to easily identify the margins and provide a crown with excellent fit. SHOULD... When I called the lab and asked them to remake the first crown when it was returned far below the standard of care
