John Adamson trained at London's Arts Educational School and Royal Academy of Dancing. He danced professionally with Hartford Ballet Company and has over 35 years of teaching experience. He founded Adamson Ballet School in 1989 to provide professional dance training in Katy.

My daughter has attended Adamson Ballet for almost five years now and she loves it. The facility is well kept and clean - located in a shopping strip off of Mason rd. It's not a very big space, but good enough for the students and waiting parents. The front staff is very kind - they have worked with me in terms of financial situations and have always welcomed my daughter regardless.

Very disappointed in this place. I knew my daughter (3yo) would be difficult to join class because she stays at home with me and has never done daycare. I knew she would cry. The lady at the front desk told me "it's ok, they deal with that all the time. The instructor is the best at dealing with children. They all cry, but she is very good and will handle it"
So I sign her up for class. As expected, she was crying. However they did not live up to their end of the deal. The instructor brought her into class for about five seconds and then kicked her out and told her she needs to calm down before

We love Adamsons! My daughter has danced here for 7 years and we wouldn't recommend anywhere else. If you're looking for a grounded school that won't take advantage of your daughter, this is it.

I danced at Adamson for nearly 13 years and it is one of my fondest experiences from my childhood. I love the Adamson family and their fabulous teachers. They are amazing people, offering the highest quality of dance education, and I am proud to say I danced with them. The Adamsons were always extremely supportive of me and my abilities, and my dance classes there saw me through some tough times. I cherish memories of my time there.

I've been a jazz student at Adamson's from age 7 to 18. Adamson Ballet School is a great studio with fantastic students and instructors. Mrs. Adamson and Mrs. Chambers in particular have been my teachers for several years and I'm so happy to have been under their guidance in my time at Adamson's. I'm going to miss the studio and all of the people that I've met when I leave for college, and I definitely recommend attending Adamson Ballet School.
