Manhasset Bay Yacht Club enjoys a prime waterfront location, featuring a classic federal style clubhouse, and comfortable rooms for social occasions, as well as inn rooms for club guests. With a history of more than 120 years as a leader in the yachting world, Manhasset Bay Yacht Club is a unique place for families to relax, meet friends, enjoy sailing, the pool, tennis, and fine dining in The Grill Room, Bay room, Lower and Upper Terraces.
History

During the winter of 1888-89, William G. Newman and George A. Corry, gathered around them a score of yachtsman for the purpose of organizing an informal sailing club from which later sprung the Douglaston Yacht Club. The lack of a permanent Clubhouse, the gradual silting of Little Neck Bay and the mining of Long Island Sound during the Spanish American War caused the members to seek a better location further eastward in Port Washington.

If you're participating in an event, the regatta documents will be found on the event page or on the schedule page. The Nationals are the climax of the IC winter season, generally held in the middle of April. The competition is fierce, with some of the best sailors on the East Coast attending.
