FYSA is committed to do all it can to allow for safe and fun play for our participants and our visitors. We will follow all of the rules and policies of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Mass Youth Soccer. Click for specific details related to Franklin fields and protocols. The Franklin Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization that governs, conducts, promotes, and encourages the playing of soccer by the youth of Franklin.
We strive to develop players at all levels of interest and ability by helping them build and improve their skills, confidence, fitness, and sense of teamwork. We will use our best effort to provide each player with the opportunity to play soccer in an age-appropriate environment that emphasizes fun, competition, and the development of age-appropriate skills.

About Us
Report
The Franklin Youth Soccer Association was established in 1967 to promote the playing of soccer in the Franklin community. Over the years the game has evolved and FYSA has evolved, too. A wholely volunteer organization operating out of the homes of its members for many years, FYSA hired a Club Administrator and moved into an office in 2000.
Continuous Play
Report
How does this work? Easy! Coaches will begin with 5-7 game balls on the side at midfield. Play will begin with a kick-off (ball placed at midfield with "visiting team" in possession) and play begins. Each time a ball leaves the field of play or a goal is scored, one of the coaches will roll a new ball out onto the field near the midfield spot.
Instructional Cancellation Policy
Report
From time to time, mother nature does not cooperate with us and we can experience wet or cold weather on the weekends. Here is a brief overview of what you should do if you have any doubts about if your children should be out playing soccer in questionable weather. Please note that this applies only to the Instructional Division; Travel and In-House have their own cancellation policies and procedures.

Academy
Report
The FYSA Academy program is an in-town program for players from grades 3 through 12. We use the term academy as it implies a certain training model that emphasizes individual development for all participants. Multiple teams train together during the week, mixing players of all abilities. Games are a cooperative effort of all coaches to play good soccer and improve technical and tactical skills for all players.
