Priya Pilates
We are a full-service Pilates studio offering classes and private instruction on the Reformer, Tower, Exo-chair and CoreAlign. Whether you are an athlete trying to improve your game, recovering from an injury, or just want to get in shape, our studio has the answer. Our Pilates program is based on the teachings of Joe Pilates with a contemporary interpretation.

Classes on the Reformer are either 201 (Intermediate) or 301 (Intermediate to Advanced) and require that students have a solid base of knowledge from another studio or have taken private pilates classes with one of our instructors. A system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.

Reformer 201 / Beginner - Intermediate Level: The best way to achieve the full benefits of Pilates Reformer workouts is to take increasingly challenging classes. If you are a beginning reformer student you will need to complete a course of six private lessons before participating in group classes. This class is designed for the intermediate student.

Heidi Danahy has been an American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Lifestyle Fitness Coach for over 20 years. She has taught a variety of fitness classes across the country and developed a successful fitness consulting business on the East Coast. Opening Priya Pilates & Fitness is the culmination of her dreams.

Have you ever felt that one leg is stronger, or your shoulder doesn't quite rotate correctly? CoreAlign training is perfect for working on developing good, upright posture while also developing balance and core strength. It was developed by physical therapist Jonathan Hoffman to help those recovering from injury as well as those seeking a workout that will fine-tune their athletic abilities.
