From our wildly innovative founder, Phin DeMink, who's still a daily inspiration, to the new generation of brewers, thinkers, and drinkers who share our pursuit of what's next, we keep honing the creative edge of brewing discovery.So this is an open invitation, to anyone who gives a damn about the difference between a well-crafted beer and a stunningly satisfying encounter with the new.

Since our humble beginnings, Southern Tier Brewing Company has grown into an industry leader and world-class brewery. As demand has grown over the years, Southern Tier has expanded to a 110 BBL Steinecker brewhouse. Surrounding the brewhouse is the packaging hall with keg, bottle and can production lines as well as our ever-growing farm of fermenters and state-of-the-art brewing quality lab.

The Southern Tier Quality Team is dedicated to upholding our brands' high standards. The scientists work alongside the other departments to handle everything to do with fermentation, packaging, laboratory, yeast management and sensory for each brew we make.

We're currently trained to recognize up to 22 off-flavors or aromas in beer, some down to the ppb (parts per billion is like a single second in a span of 32 years, or 1 single silver dollar if a roll of them stretched from Detroit to Salt Lake City).So, yes, we do drink (sensorize by smelling and sipping) beer EVERY day- just not ALL day, because there's lot of other Science going on.

We offer a wide selection of cold packaged beer to go, along with growlers and crowlers of 14 draught beers, a gift shop, and killer pub fare. We're here for beer, but our lunch and dinner menu is widely known for pairing perfectly with your beverage of choice. Our sandwiches and tacos are piled high with meats from a hickory fired in-house smoker.

The 30+ taps at our Downtown Cleveland taproom serve traditional Southern Tier favorites such as 8 Days A Week and Pumking Imperial Ale. The taproom is also home to its own brewing facility, producing brand new, 'Cleveland Brew'd' specialty beers, barrel-aged products, and sours - all to the taste of the local, Cleveland consumers.
