My father was a doctor and, growing up, I remember him always seeing his patients when we were out at the shopping mall or grocery store, and it brought such a sense of community to our family.

Before earning her master's degree as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, from Arizona State University in 2008, Denise worked for many years as both a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Neonatal Nurse. As a nurse in the hospital setting, Denise loved being able to take care of the mothers and babies and found it to be very magical and rewarding.
