At Hyperion Language and Learning Services we strive to provide the best instruction possible in the areas of literacy, math, and language. All tutors are fully certified educators with years of experience teaching students and with many hours of professional development to increase their learning in their toolbox.
We offer math tutoring, reading tutoring, and SAT prep services. Instruction is individualized and your child receives his or her own private tutor. Hyperion Learning was established by Victoria Papageorge M.ED. M.S. and has been offering educational tutoring services to students K-12 in Southern Maine for more than a decade.

Tutoring Services

All of our tutoring services are provided by highly qualified educators. The goals and method of instruction are individualized and tailored to each student's needs. Most of our services are provided at our tutoring center in Kennebunk however, we also offer virtual learning experiences as well.
Reading instruction may target phonemic awareness, decoding skills, spelling, vocabulary, comprehension, sight-word development and/or reading fluency skills.The instructor may choose from a variety of approaches or programming including the Lindamood-Bell (LIPS), Reading with TLC, Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars "Visualizing and Verbalizing" Program (Lindamood-Bell) and Reading and Writing for Excellence.

Speech-Language Therapy

At Hyperion we offer a variety of speech and language evaluation services. Comprehensive speech-language evaluations may be warranted if a student is having trouble understanding or using language, expressing him/herself clearly, or struggling with reading and writing. The evaluation can provide information regarding a student's spoken language skills including phonology, semantics, morphology, syntax, and pragmatics.

Hyperion Language and Learning Services is currently looking for teachers for the 2021-2022 school year. Work directly with driven learners in a 1:1 setting on math, reading, and writing skills. Set your own schedule and work between 4-20 hours per week. During school, after school, and weekend opportunities are available.
