SELA is expanding it's School of Early Global Education to include a second location in Norwell! This new construction will be home to 13 classrooms for students ages 3 months to 5 years old. Who We Are

SELA was founded in 2004 with the goal of preparing English-speaking children to excel linguistically, academically, and socially in our global society through instruction in a second (Spanish) and third (Mandarin) language. Located in Hingham and now with a new location coming to Norwell, we are the first and only Spanish full immersion school is Southeastern Massachusetts.

Experience has taught me that every child has a unique learning style and absorbs information in a way that makes sense for him or her. We work with each student to help them succeed both academically and socially, as an individual and as part of a group.

Our Curriculum

A vertically aligned, full immersion curriculum that is in alignment with MA Common Core Standards. At SELA, our students experience a vertically coherent curriculum - what students learn in one lesson, course, or grade level prepares them for the next. Each day our students are immersed in Spanish and have math, science, art, and music.
Our Faculty
Report
SELA teachers are passionate, driven, lifelong learners devoted to helping each student succeed in a 100% immersive environment. Our teachers are all native Spanish, English, or Mandarin speakers and hold, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in the field of Education. Each is also certified in first aid, CPR, and allergy management.
