Tangle's Day Spa

I moved her last year when I got married and thought I would try this salon after a friend recommended their services.

I needed highlights and a trim.

Alex is fantastic. She did such a great job that my husband was impressed and it instantly got his attention when I walked into the room. He said, "Wow! You look great!" Even the kids were complimentary.

She does a great job with wax too.

I love Tangles! I was impressed from my first visit several years ago and still love everything about this place. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Always very neat and clean, and the decor is always fresh and up to date. Every service has been a great experience, My stylist knows exactly what I want even when I'm not sure! She is the best with cut and color, and guides me in decisions and I always get great results. An added bonus is the conversation during my visit is always professional but tasteful, always a pleasure!

Love! Tara is my go to hair stylist! I love having a stylist I can trust and just say do whatever you think would look good and it always end up looking amazing! I highly recommend very warm and welcoming atmosphere here!

I had a literal hair emergency. I was trying to go blonde and than rash decided pink and long story (very very long) short, my hair ended up a blonde color with streaks of green and blue! Ashley made time in the last thirty minutes of her day to take me in and the second she saw my awfully colored, extremely damaged hair, she went to work. She worked with me to darken to remove the green and protein treatments for all my frizzy dead ends. She finished with a fresh cut and I left feeling so much better knowing I could see the public again! The best part? She even stayed two hours after the salon

They went above and beyond to make sure my sister was ready for a wedding. It's a rare moment that a business puts a person first, which is refreshing to see and applaudable.

I went to Tangled Spa for a massage, because I received a gift certificate. I usually book elsewhere for my massages, so I was skeptical coming here. The masseuse was very sweet and hit all my problem areas. I ended up getting a 90 min massage which was lovely and relaxing. My only issue is that the spa is a full service spa. Hair, nail, facials, etc. During my massage I could hear people laughing outside my door, kids running around being loud and someone opening/closing the clothes dryer (literally right outside the room I was in). It was not a zen like atmosphere and wouldn't come back

I love Tangles Day Spa. I have been going there for over 10 years. I started going back when they were above the Dairy Queen on Port Rd. I moved to Northern VA three years ago, and I still trek back to the burg to get my hair done. They have all kinds of services including massage, nails, makeup, hair, and more. The people that work there are fabulous. They work super hard to meet all of your needs and give you the service you want.

I've been going to this salon for 5 years now! I have really long gorgeous hair and am super picky about who touches it. Absolutely love my stylist Ashley. Went to her after Hair Cuttery bleached out and severaly damaged my hair. She used special conditioners to get my hair back to its glory. We then, with great reluctance, tried partial highlights again and they turned out amazing. Last summer went there for my wedding to get my hair and my bridesmaids hair and makeup done. Melissa is the BEST at her craft of massage!! I will wait weeks to get in to see her. I will NOT use any other therapist except her!! The spa is tucked into the end of a small strip, but from the moment you walk in, you experience a calm that stays with you throughout the stay.
