First and foremost, my professional pursuits for the past 15 years are a direct function of my passion for working with children, adolescents, and families in need. In general, my mission as a professional is to provide individualized, targeted, and effective support to children, adolescents, and families.
As a goal-directed therapist, my primary objective is to understand an individual in context, to identify influences that contribute to both stress and success, and help people generate strategies to move forward in their lives. For the past 15 years, I have worked as a clinician, consultant, researcher, and adjunct instructor in several different environments, including private practice, school districts, and evaluation research companies.

I am a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist who received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and earned a Master of Science in Education degree in Psychological Services, as well as my Ph. D. in School, Community, and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

The decision to have a psychological or psycho-educational evaluation is one that often comes with many questions and concerns. I am committed to providing personal and competent attention to families, and offer a variety of different types of evaluation services. When evaluating a child or adolescent, I believe that it is critically important to consider that individual as he or she relates to his or her own environment.
