Our g-daughter (3&6) have been coming here for several months. They had taken 10 lessons from another place which just taught them to hang on while they lead them on the horse. After10 lessons here, Our g-daughters have learned a lot about safety, horses and riding. ( Ex: how to approach a horse, how to brush and tack a horse, how to wipe a horse down with a cold cloth and how to feed a horse). For riding, they learned how to mount, dismount, steer and stop. The 6 year old learned how to ride alone (no lead) and being in control and how to trot. The 3 year old or toddler class requires an

We had our daughter's 8th birthday party at Horizons East with 16 classmates and I cannot be more pleased with how the day went.
Sam gave great suggestions on what we should bring and activities to do with the kids. They let us drop off the decorations/food/etc. the day before, which was helpful to not have to stress about it the day of the party. When we arrived 30 minutes prior to the party to set up, the setup was nearly all done by Sam and her team! They also have a fridge/freezer to store food as well as a drink chest to store beverages. As hosts, we really didn't have to do

This is a beautiful facility. Always clean and the horses are always healthy and kept in top condition. The trainers are knowledgable and courteous. Safety is a priority. I highly recommend this for both beginners and the most advanced riders.

Poorly trained employees; they let a dog roam outside when our daughter was in class which caused the horse to jump throwing our daughter to the ground breaking her arm and maybe suffering a concussion. No apology; no call from the owner asking how our daughter is doing; nothing at all. Horses are wild and will do unexpected things but it's negligence to leave a dog roam in the dark when it's a very real possibility that it will spook a horse.

I came her on a whim almost a year ago and haven't stopped coming since. The instructors are really well educated and technical, and they genuinely care a lot about their students. They have multiple packages with prices that make riding affordable for any budget. I'm an adult rider with zero previous experience but am extremely pleased with the progress I have made, thanks to the coaching of Sam, Keely and Jen. Whether you are interested in competitive riding, or are just looking for a fun weekend experience, I guarantee there is something for you here.

Love this place. I have taken my daughter here who is 3. Riding a horse is something she has really showed an interest in. Jen is her trainer and she has been so patient and really takes the time with her to make sure she is learning and also having fun. She has ridden 2 different horses and has a blast. Definitely scheduling more classes
