All-Star has been teaching children since 1998 to be swim safe, learn the core basics of swimming, and perfect stroke technique. All-Star was founded by Brian Oas, a previous competitive swimmer and long-time swim instructor. He created a non-intimidating swim program focusing on children being swim safe and having fun in the water. All-Star is now owned and operated by Brian and his wife Jennifer, bringing a unique background both in competitive swimming, childhood education, and working with special needs children.

It's our philosophy that everything learned is a stepping-stone. We want children to take away more from their swim lessons than the ability to swim and be safe in the water. We realize it is often one of the first interactions a child has working with a teacher/instructor. We want your child's swim lessons to be a positive experience and lead to a strong foundation for their future education.

Each child is unique in how quickly they learn new skills and there are many factors that can contribute to a student learning to swim at a faster or slower pace. While we recognize that each child learns at a different pace, we recommend that you come a minimum of 1 time a week for 15 minutes.
If you have a more aggressive goal for your child, we might recommend that you come to lessons 2 times per week to provide your child with another lesson in the same week to address the skills.We typically see great results from students attending lessons 1 time per week, but as with most new skills, the more you practice them, the better you become.

Why All-Star

All-Star is a safe and fun environment for swimmers of all levels - whether it's learning the basics of water safety to refining strokes for competitive swimming. We begin working with children starting at 6 months of age through their youth, as well as children with special needs. We ensure that every child not only learns to swim, but has a positive experience.
Our Facility

We designed All-Star to cater to the needs of swim students and their families. Our facilities include a pool designed specifically for teaching swim lessons (both in the summer and winter), two viewing areas for parents to watch their swimmers, and ample parking. All-Star is located in Danville and is easily accessible from other east bay locations.
