Contact Lenses
Report
Come in for a set of trials in your prescription - we can do one day lenses for single vision, multi-focal use, and even astigmatism! They are made of a high-tech material which allows up to six times the level of oxygen to reach your eyes, compared to the other popular lenses! This is a great way to minimize the impact of wear schedules in your life.
Myopia Management
Report
Dr Thieme is certified to fit the new MiSight contact lenses which have been shown to reduce progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children. This is a revolutionary lens which has been shown to be a safe and effective way to reduce the amount of myopia in growing youth.
After three years, the study concluded the lens effectively slowed myopia progression by an average of 59% and slowed the rate at which the eye lengthens by an average of 52% compared to children in the control group wearing a single-vision 1-day lens.If you recall going to the eye doctor as a youth, and your eyes getting worse every year, you can help your child have a better future by the time they reach adulthood.

Eye Surgery
Report
Cataract Surgery is necessary for many patients who develop this "clouding of the lens" within the eye. Your cloudy lens is removed and replaced with a new lens. Lasik is the most accurate, advanced procedure to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses. Dr Thieme has been involved in the care of eye surgery patients since 1994, and has the experience and training to help you make the right decision.
Lasik
Report
Coordinated care between your family eye doctor and your LASIK surgeon ensures the best result for your eyes. You have probably heard about wavefront technology, and bladeless LASIK. Come in and talk to Dr. Thieme about whether that is a good choice for you. Know your options and what the outcome is likely to be before you commit to a laser eye procedure.
