Located in Brandford, Connecticut, Airborne Industries Inc. was founded in 1963 and manufactures military components and accessories for the U.S. Military and related defense industry companies. Our facility, with the first floor at 14,500 square feet, accommodates administration, engineering, quality and manufacturing, shipping and receiving.
Products
Report
Each product is controlled by documented manufacturing methods and instructions. Compliance to blueprint specifications is monitored through the inspection of key features at regular intervals during the manufacturing process. Material test reports, vendor certifications, and inspection reports are completed and retained on all parts manufactured by Airborne Industries Inc. Certification for each customer's needs is available upon request.
Engineering

Utilizing state of the art computer aided design and development software, our engineering department creates customized drawings and patterns that are used in manufacturing to meet our customer's exacting needs. Our capability includes, reverse engineering, 3D wire frame, solid and surface modeling, design of tooling and fixtures, and the generation of computer data to run automated cutting machines.

Airborne performs both manual and automated operations, which include stitching, precision cutting, die cutting, bonding, riveting and assembly.
