The safety and well-being of children participating in Atomz Lab is our number one priority. We are continuing to take measures to ensure that our instructors are equipped to keep our young scientists safe. Additionally, it's our commitment to provide quality, educational and fun experiences, which is what teaching science should always be.
During our programs, everyone will need to wear a face covering at all times and will need to wash or sanitize hands before entering the program. All supplies will be sanitized before and after the program. Classes for groups of children ages 3-5, held at your school. Each session features a different, age-appropriate experiment that is guaranteed to WOW preschoolers, and develop their fascination for the exciting world of science.

Dawn Ballway (Founder) moved to the Charlotte area with her husband and two children. She previously lived in New Jersey and worked in the performing arts before having children. Dawn studied childhood development for many years. Realizing that science instruction in our schools has decreased consistently throughout the years, Dawn decided to fill the void by creating Atomz Lab.
Field Trips

Field trips are perfect for teachers looking to add a hands-on scientific session to their curriculum. Your students (and the teachers) will love it! Our field trips are approximately 60 minutes in length (let us know if you need a longer session). Preschool to 5th grade. If you would like the total number of students broken up into more than one group, there is an additional $50 surcharge per group.

Are you ready to embark on an adventure with Elsa, Anna and Olaf? Then head over to Atomz Lab for some cold, snowy, science fun! Your child will create a snowy blizzard, huge bubbles and more! Everyone will make their own snow; help Elsa unfreeze jewels she accidentally froze; make a miniature Olaf by mixing some messy, cool substances; see how cold ice can really be (approximately 110* below 0).

I want to take a moment to tell you thank you for your enthusiasm and love for science and taking it to a unbelievably fun level with kids. My son loves experimenting. Wesley Chapel Volunteer Fire Department's Bob Maple shows students how oxygen is administered at our First Aid Workshop. Thank you so much for a FUN and informative week!
After School Programs

Atomz Lab follows UCPS' schedule (Winter Break, holidays, and so forth) for our After School Programs. Should schools be closed due to inclement weather, Atomz Lab cannot guarantee make-up classes will be held. There is a $5 fee for refunded tuition initiated by the parent, in order to cover PayPal fees.
