South Baldwin Christian Academy (SBCA) is an accredited, private Christian school helping students in preK3-12th grade discover the plans God has for their lives. SBCA tuition rates are among the most affordable in Baldwin County for a private, Christian education. Students are provided with opportunities to develop their musical, visual arts and theatrical giftings.

The foundation for South Baldwin Christian Academy (SBCA) was laid in 2008 when a local church, three educators and a group of parents joined together to form Calvary Christian Learning Center (CCLC). CCLC started with three teachers and 35 students. By 2012 it had grown to 9 teachers and 50 students.
Meet Our Team

We are a team of Christian educators and administrators dedicated to the calling of helping children discover the plans God has for their lives. Buzz grew up hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, and camping in Eagle River, Alaska. His parents were pastors of a church and were the hub of their community.

Joanna Mayes is a Christian writer and blogger with a passion for helping ministries reach the lost and hurting. She is the founder of the www. ChristianFreedom. Life, a resource offering Christian resources and encouragement to help believers grow deeper in their faith. Additionally, Joanna and her husband founded The Table, a missional community in Foley, Alabama.

At South Baldwin Christian Academy (SBCA), we open our facilities to host conferences, training sessions and other events to help promote excellence in Christian education. This year, the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) will hold its Christian Teachers' Conference at SBCA. The conference features two general sessions with breakout sessions.
