Services
Well-Child Visits
Regular well-child visits monitor growth, development, and overall health through physical exams, developmental screenings, and age-appropriate immunizations. Our pediatricians provide personalized guidance on nutrition, sleep, and developmental milestones while addressing parental concerns. These preventive care appointments establish baseline health metrics and foster long-term doctor-patient relationships for comprehensive childhood healthcare.
Immunizations
We administer CDC-recommended vaccines to protect against preventable diseases following personalized immunization schedules. Our team provides detailed vaccine information sheets and addresses parental concerns while ensuring compliance with Colorado school requirements. Services include routine childhood vaccinations, catch-up schedules, and medical exemption documentation for children from infancy through adolescence.
Developmental Screenings
Standardized developmental screenings identify potential delays in language, motor skills, and social interaction using tools like ASQ, MCHAT, and Bright Futures guidelines. Early detection enables timely intervention for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder while tracking progress through age-appropriate milestones. Our pediatricians provide resources for developmental support and coordinate specialist referrals when needed.
Chronic Condition Management
We provide comprehensive management for chronic childhood conditions including asthma, allergies, and ADHD through personalized treatment plans. Our approach combines medical interventions, lifestyle recommendations, and regular monitoring to optimize symptom control. We work closely with families to develop care strategies that minimize disruptions to children's daily activities and school performance.
Same-Day Sick Appointments
Immediate medical attention for acute illnesses ensures prompt diagnosis and treatment of common childhood conditions. Our pediatricians conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide follow-up guidance for recovering patients. This service addresses urgent health concerns while maintaining continuity with primary care providers for consistent treatment outcomes.

They are so caring and the staff is so friendly and kind! Whenever I send a message about my son they typically get back to me the same day I send it. Such a wonderful pediatric practice! Dr. Peters at the downtown office is absolutely amazing!

Our first visit was great. After a few initial hiccups (timing), the staff was very helpful, professional, friendly and respectful. Especially for the end of the day, they didn't make me feel rushed or like a burden for being late to the appointment. The exams of my son, 7, and daughter, 4, were quick yet thorough and helpful information was provided. Nurse Robin was very kind and understanding. And Ms. Adriana was a supreme pro with the vaccine shots - somehow she kept smiling while handling my very very reluctant son. I look forward to continuing to take my children to Iron Horse in the months

I have been taking my daughter to see Lindsey Peters for a year. I absolutely love Lindsey! She has been great. However, each time I take my daughter to the doctors office she gets sick. I am a stay at home mom and I hardly take my child out due to the pandemic. Which is why I was shocked when my child contracted RSV in the days following her doctors appointment. Fast forward a few months she recently had a doctors appointment on January 3rd. The next day she began to vomit and was unable to hold any food or water. Today I gave her a rapid test and she was COVID positive. Which leads me to believe

Doctor Valdez is the best pediatrician I have ever had for my kids. We had to move out of state due to military orders, but if we can come back we will do it just so our kids are in the best hands again. Dr Valdez truly cares about her patients, she is so kind and caring, she is personable and had the best bed side manner with all 6 of my babies. I can not say enough good things about her!
