Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops technical precision and grace through structured training. Students learn proper form, terminology, and performance techniques while building foundational skills applicable to all dance styles. Classes emphasize posture, alignment, and artistic expression for ages 3 to adult. This core discipline enhances flexibility, strength, and musicality in a supportive learning environment.
Hip-Hop Workshops

With over 15 years of dance education leadership, Marlaina established MIDC to make dance accessible to all. She oversees curriculum development and instructor training while teaching advanced classes. Her vision combines technical excellence with inclusive programming that builds confidence through movement.
Jaclyn Frantz
Co-Instructor
Certified dance educator Jaclyn Frantz brings expertise in youth development and choreography. She teaches multiple styles while mentoring students in performance techniques. Her approach emphasizes positive reinforcement and creating a supportive environment where students achieve personal growth through dance.

What dance styles do you offer?
We teach ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acro, lyrical, contemporary, tap, and heels. Special programs include Pure Joy for dancers with disabilities and adult fitness classes.
Are there performance opportunities?
Yes! Students participate in annual showcases, regional competitions, and community events. Competitive teams perform throughout California with regular performance-based evaluations.
How do I register for classes?
Registration occurs through our Studio Pro portal. Create an account to enroll in classes, manage payments, and access studio calendars for the 2025-2026 season.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our automated billing system. Cash and checks are not accepted for tuition payments.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes! First-time students receive one free trial class to experience our programs before committing to regular enrollment.
Are there family discounts?
While we don't offer traditional family discounts, our Work Exchange Program provides alternative payment options through studio assistance opportunities for qualifying families.

I've been at a few dance studios and none have been as welcoming, loving, and encouraging as this one. The director and staff know what they are doing and are incredibly organized. The team are some of the nicest people I have ever met and are so fun and welcoming. Not to mention this studio caters to people of all levels, I've improved more here than I have anywhere else in such a short time! I am SO blessed to have found Mirror Image when I did. Not to mention, MIDC takes Covid seriously, follows local protocols, and always makes safety a priority. Your kid will LOVE it here!

This is my fifth year dancing with Mirror Image dance company and there are absolutely no words that could describe how supportive and amazing this studio is. I started off with absolutely no dance experience and with Marlainas support i was able to not only build my confidence, but skill and she helps us all to achieve any goal! I love the whole mirror image family and cant wait to dance for years to come with them!!!

My daughter loves MIDC! She is only 3 (almost 4) and the teachers have always made her feel welcomed and appreciated. They have also done an amazing job managing COVID-19 protocols and allowing dancers of all ages to continue dancing!

This is my daughter's about 5th dance lesson and she just adores miss Sophia ( I hope we got that right)🤞 I have to double check on Saturday. she is such a sweet girl and so good with the kids. love this place.

My daughter has been dancing at MIDC for three years. Its been amazing how much she's learned and developed at dance, but also how much pride and confidence she has gained in the process. The directors create an atmosphere that is fun and supportive among the dancers.
