As someone whos always wanted to dance, Ive finally settled in my career and found the time to make this happen. I bought 4 sessions. I was so excited to attend my first dance class today and arrived on time. My GPS lead me to the front of the building where all the offices appeared to be empty and vacant so I was confused. I immediately called to get guidance however, no one picked up. I called several times consecutively and even sent an email and I got no response until 30 minutes laterI receive a call back at last. The young man on the phone informed me that their studio was located

4 years later and I'm still coming to the studio because of how awesome Isela & Brandon are. Kudos to them for making SDL 2021 Best of Sac for "Best Place to Take a Dance Lesson!"
A lot has changed since my previous review. OBRA is now a separate entity from Sac Dance Lab.
CLASSES: When you walk in now, there are 3 dance rooms, 2 rooms to take class and 1 where instructors teach private sessions for dancers looking for 1-on-1 training. All class times are on their website and their Instagram page (@sacdancelab), and there may be some last minute changes, so I highly recommend

A ton of fun and super welcoming. I'm a total novice and I really just go for fun, which they deliver every time. The teachers and other dancers are super supportive of everyone and the whole room has a great energy. I don't have the time to go as often as I'd like but each time it's always a blast.

Tonight was my first and last time allowing my son to attend a class at Sac Dance Lab. He was rude, unprofessional, and lacking tact. When Isela tried explaining his behavior, it was because theyve been having a tough night with parents asking questions and not following procedures. Probably because this was their first visit here. Nonetheless, we will NOT support or patronize this business again.
