Services
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our comprehensive eye exams evaluate both vision and ocular health using advanced diagnostic tools. We assess visual acuity, screen for common eye diseases like glaucoma and cataracts, and update prescriptions for glasses or contacts. These exams are crucial for early detection of conditions affecting vision and overall health, especially for patients with diabetes or hypertension.
Cataract Treatment
We provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery while managing early-stage cataracts through monitoring and lifestyle adjustments. Our team educates patients on surgical options and works with specialists to ensure optimal outcomes. Regular evaluations help track progression and determine the ideal timing for intervention.
Glaucoma Management
Our glaucoma management includes regular intraocular pressure testing, visual field assessments, and OCT scans to monitor optic nerve health. We coordinate treatment plans with specialists and provide ongoing support for patients using medicated eye drops or undergoing laser therapy to prevent vision loss.
Dry Eye Treatment
We offer specialized dry eye evaluations to identify underlying causes like environmental factors or systemic conditions. Treatment options include prescription medications, punctal plugs, and lifestyle modifications. Our team provides personalized recommendations to improve tear quality and ocular surface health for lasting relief.
Contact Lenses
Our contact lens fittings include corneal topography and trial lenses to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction. We specialize in hard-to-fit cases like keratoconus and offer multifocal, toric, and extended-wear options. Patients receive detailed instructions for proper insertion, removal, and hygiene practices during their fitting appointments.

Dr Maizel is very thorough with examinations. He explains in detail the procedures & results. The staff is friendly & very helpful. There's also a large assortment of eyewear. If they don't have what you're looking for, just ask!! This is our family optometrist!!! I definitely recommend. This is not your assembly line type of office for sure!!

I highly recommend choosing Lansdowne Eye to accommodate all your vision needs. The doctors and staff are always friendly and helpful. Making and changing appointments is an easy process and they send you friendly reminders. They are located right next to the Landowne Police and town Bureau. The parking lot is easy to miss, just pull behind the building adjacent to the police station. Also there is metered parking in the front.
