Your Trusted Behavioral Optometrist in Broomall, PA
At Steven Gallop OD Behavioral Optometry, we specialize in addressing complex visual challenges through personalized, patient-centered care. With over 30 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals of all ages overcome vision-related difficulties, from learning and developmental issues to post-concussion rehabilitation. My journey began at age eight when I first struggled with vision problems that traditional optometry failed to resolve. This personal experience led me to pursue behavioral optometry, a field that recognizes vision as a dynamic, learnable process rather than a fixed trait. Our practice focuses on comprehensive visual evaluations, therapeutic lenses, and customized vision therapy programs designed to improve comfort, performance, and overall quality of life.We treat conditions such as myopia, strabismus, amblyopia, and visual disturbances following brain injuries, emphasizing non-invasive solutions that reduce dependency on corrective lenses. Every patient receives one-on-one attention, as I personally conduct all evaluations and therapy sessions to ensure continuity and depth of care. Located in Broomall, Pennsylvania, we serve communities across Delaware County and beyond, offering a unique approach that integrates visual development with holistic well-being.

Exceptional experience - the new eyeglasses I have are the best I've ever had. I actually WANT to wear them! First time in decades! Having a script without the astigmatism correction in the lenses is really eye opening (pun intended)!
