The Holy Spirit has established Living Oaks Academy to rename each of us "Oaks of Righteousness to display His glory" through. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth. Do you see what we've got? An unshakable kingdom!

My child struggles maintaining focus and sitting still, can they function in this environment?. This can be a huge concern to many parents and students, we understand! Project Based Learning can help a TON with this. With classrooms being set up in a totally different way from every other classroom we cater towards the student who can not concentrate sitting on a hard chair all day.

I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Religon and a Masters in Christian Leadership. As I have taught in private school in the area for the past 10 years and homeschooled my son through high school, God has put a dream in my heart to start a school like no other. He has called us to celebrate life and live with expectancy of all that He has for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I want my students to develop critical thinking skills, to become problem solvers, and to love learning. As I look at what I want my students to learn with each new unit, I develop projects that require them to think and problem solve. We learn by doing, so I take the concept that I am teaching and create a project for them to work through.

There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended.
