The Shafer's have been offering quality natural and organic products since 1976 with the intention of helping our community live a vibrant life. Fred opened Taste of Dawn Natural Foods in the winter of 1976, a pioneer in the natural foods movement, bringing herbs and whole foods to the community.

Harvest Moon was founded in 1997 by John and Sally Malatros who for 21 years operated this natural products oasis with some of the finest products available.When they were getting ready to close their doors and retire, the Shafer duo was delighted for the opportunity to move into a new location and continue the legacy.
