The Marechal Foch (mar-esh-shall-fosh) is our driest Iowa red. This wine is based on Iowa-grown Marechal Foch grapes, and is aged in Iowa white oak barrels. This complex red is full bodied and carries cherry notes with low tannin. Pairs well with sharper cheese. To perfect our Marquette wine, we age our fermented, estate-grown, Marquette grapes in American Oak for one year.
