Ponte's Auto Care is a family run business that has been serving the Wilmington area since 1968. Jim's Father opened his First Auto repair shop in Philadelphia in the late fifties all along knowing that one day he would return to his home in Delaware.
In the mid sixties he finally returned to his roots and opened shop in Wilmington where Jim started his automotive career attending automotive technical schools and honing his skills, all the while being mentored by his father.When his father fell ill and was no longer able to operate the business, Jim took over and moved the shop to the concord pike.
