Contemporary Dance

Company Division
Audition-based program offering elite training for serious dancers aged 7-18. Includes specialized instruction in ballet technique, conditioning, and pointe work. Students perform with Georgia Metro Dance Theatre in professional-quality productions throughout Cobb County and Marietta.
Adult Ballet
Beginner and advanced classes designed for adult learners seeking technical development in a supportive environment. Focuses on proper form, flexibility, and classical ballet vocabulary. Non-recital option allows flexible participation without performance commitments.

How are students placed in classes?
Students are grouped by age, maturity, and skill level. Contact us for personalized placement guidance to ensure proper class selection.
Is there an audition requirement?
The Company Division requires auditions. Other programs have open enrollment with placement based on age and experience.
What are your class schedules?
Studio hours: Monday-Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-1pm. Class schedules are available online for the 2025-26 season.

I've been to many recitals prior to having kids because my friends mom owns a dance studio in the city. I decided to put my daughter in this school because it's much closer to home. We were never allowed to go in and watch because of covid, which is fine.
However, when the recital finally came I was excited with high hopes. I must say I was super let down. There was lack of coordination for all ages. I'm not even sure what the theme was or if there was a theme. I would honestly give them one star for the lack of coordination and rhythm. But I'm giving them 4 because they

This dance studio is wonderful. They are fairly priced and have a family atmosphere. The kids enjoy the teachers and the teachers are kid-friendly. They are all-around wholesome family dance class. They offer a wide variety of choices and styles. Lawanda at the front desk is an amazing person and super friendly. We have left GDC due to the way one particular teacher mistreated my daughter. The last dance recital she had their the underage girls were wearing extremely inappropriate costumes and the music selection were even worse. Do not send your young daughter to this school unless you

I know this place for adult fitness classes. Which includes a very unique style of yoga called BUTI, Barre, and Lyft. All of these classes are challenging and fun. The instructors Kasi and Rebecca are so accomplished in their field of expertise. This is a great place to workout.

I danced at this studio for 5 years, primarily taking ballet. I was thrilled with the expertise of the faculty and the level of choreography I performed. I wish there was more of a bridge between the non-company students, and company students, however. Though I only danced 2 days a week, taking ballet and pointe, I felt rather excluded from the rest of the dance studio who studied in the company at a rather high price.

I love this dance school so much, the teachers, students ,and environment. What a great place for any child to enroll and start from a beginniner level in dance and move to an advanced Level skill in dance. They offer so many options with Tap, HipHop, contemporary, ballet and more.
