Atlanta Professional Dance Academy has been dedicated to cultivating excellence in dance since 1997. Founded by former principal dancer Wei Dongsheng of the National Ballet of China and Atlanta Ballet, our award-winning pre-professional ballet program has consistently produced top-tier talent. Our dancers have achieved recognition at prestigious competitions including YAGP and the World Ballet Competition, while our Jasmine Flowers performance group has graced international stages through NBC's America's Got Talent and CCTV's Amazing Chinese. As the official dance school of T.M. Culture & Art Center, we provide comprehensive training in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas De Deux, and contemporary styles for students aged five through adult.Our state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot facility features professional ballet flooring to prepare students for professional dance careers and life beyond the studio. Through rigorous technical training and global cultural exchange opportunities, we develop passionate, goal-oriented individuals who excel both artistically and personally. Ballet for the Littles
Structured ballet training for ages five to eight introduces foundational techniques in a nurturing environment. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum builds proper form and discipline while fostering a love for dance. Students receive personalized attention to ensure technical mastery before advancing to higher levels.
Pre-Professional Ballet
Intensive ballet program prepares serious dancers for professional careers through daily technique classes and performance opportunities. Students train in classical repertoire, contemporary styles, and pas de deux while participating in annual full-length productions. Admission requires audition and teacher recommendation for optimal skill development.
Cultural Exchange
Global dance experiences through T.M. Culture & Art Center connect students with international artists and training opportunities. Dance Festival

Former principal dancer with National Ballet of China and Atlanta Ballet brings decades of professional experience to APDA. His award-winning training methods have produced internationally recognized dancers while maintaining rigorous technical standards. Continues to shape curriculum and mentor instructors.

What age groups do you accept?
We offer programs for dancers aged five through adult with developmentally appropriate training levels from beginner to pre-professional.
How do students advance through levels?
Promotion requires technical mastery demonstrated through evaluations. New students must audition, while returning students advance by teacher recommendation.
What performance opportunities exist?
Annual Dance Festival and full-length classical ballet productions provide stage experience. Pre-professional students perform leading roles in productions like Swan Lake and Coppelia.

Kind, extremely skilled teachers. The owners are former professional dancers. The school consistently does extremely well in competitions. They have been on America's Got Talent. I have been very impressed with the true care and consideration they have for their students, it's not just a job for them.

I started to go this academy when I was about 9 years old and throughout the years I was able to learn all sorts of dances such as hip-hop, ballet, chinese folk, jazz and etc. Attending this school gave me the opportunity to travel the world in all sorts of competitions and tv shows such as AGT and Chinas got talent. Not only I had those experiences but I was able to have a family and a second home away from home. It was great for me to express my emotions and thoughts through movement and music. To this day Im still dancing whether it be through school, program or my self because of this
