Their tag line is Almost world famous should be Used to be world famous . I got a meatloaf sandwich and croissant ($20 bucks) threw them both in the garbage. Sandwich bread was stale with barely any meatloaf and the croissant was brick like instead of flaky.

Great sandwiches with outdoor seating and a view of the water. It doubles as a gift store as well. They also have some local beer for sale. Great place to have a nice relaxing lunch, I will most definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

I can't say enough about how Great Warren store is! It is tucked in the middle of the Green Mountain National forest and is a welcome stop if you are driving up route 100. I would recommend the ultimate grilled cheese! I promise you have never had one like it before!

I love this place! Warren is a small town and the Store is the main business (along with the Pitcher Inn). Lots of selection of things to buy, but their food and pastries are the best. The sandwiches are amazing! Highly recommended

I have been stopping in to the Warren store for years. Honestly I think it was much better a few years back. The last few times I stopped in the store, it had changed. It lost a lot of it's old general store feel. It seems a lot more city influenced now. Don't get me wrong. It's still an old general store. It's just not as genuine as it use to be. I still really enjoy a nice sandwich outside on the deck overlooking the stream. And I still stop in.

Another quintessential Vermont country store. Very easy-to-find off Route 100 with parking in front of the store and also on the street. Space to sit on the deck overlooking the falls to enjoy any food that you may order inside. The store boasts a good selection of beer and wine, prepared foods including daily specials, any staples that you may need to replenish your pantry, and lots of great clothing and other general items that you might need.

My sandwich was so good. Loved this authentic spot. Highly recommend a trip to the Store when anywhere nearby. The deli/kitchen were great. The staff was super friendly. There was also a gift shop. The seating and parking were full when I was there but definitely worth it.
