Metro Barber Academy, located in Summerdale, Pennsylvania, offers full-time and part-time training for barbers and men's stylists. Our extensive training includes multicultural haircuts, shaves, facials, eyebrow arching and more. Owner/Instructor Bryant Mathes acquired his training from the late Master Barber Ramon Price.
When Mr. Price passed away, Mr. Mathes purchased the barber shop and established his school in honor of his late teacher. Metropolitan Barber Academy Inc. was established 2013. Students interested in becoming barbers must attend 1,250 hours of training for no less than 9 months to earn Pennsylvania Licensure.

Metro Barber Academy offers stylist services to the Central Pennsylvania Community. Our haircuts, shaves, facials, and additional services help our student barbers gain hands-on experience while offering our community an affordable barber shop option to meet their needs. These students are training to be barbers and men's stylists under the tutelage of trained, licensed, and experienced instructors.
