Whatever you call them we fell in love with the energy of the breed, their sense of humor and their undying loyalty.
Newman is nestled in the California San Joaquin Central Valley near Modesto CA, but we are convenient to Turlock, Patterson, Merced and Los Banos. We have delivered puppoes for byers throught the state including San Francisco, Los Angles, Reno, San Diego, Eureka, and Chico.

To reserve a puppy you need to sign a litter deposit form where you specify your desires in the puppy you want and pay a deposit. The deposit is applied to the final purchase of the puppy. The deposit is not refundable unless we are unable to deliver the puppy you reserved. We post litter pictures on the website so you can check out the puppies as they mature.

About Breed

The breed originated in Australia and goes back to the mid 1800's. The Australian Cattle Dog (ACD, Cattle Dog or Queensland Heeler), was bred to herd cattle in Australia's outback. Everything about the breed today - temperament, coat, physical structure, etc - reflects this original purpose. In 1840, a man named Thomas Hall crossed some blue merle Smooth Highland Collies with dingoes to create a breed known as the 'Hall's Heelers.'
