Jack's Guitar Garage

Jack's Guitar Garage is a musical education center specializing in guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice and ukulele instruction. The core curriculum revolves around learning the "language of music" and how it is applied in different musical environments. While providing a solid foundation, students of all ages are challenged to develop a sense of expression, imagination and creativity.

Our Rising Rockers Group Guitar Program is a perfect first step for any young musician interested in playing guitar. Through the group program, students will establish the necessary foundation of being a musician while remaining engaged through a fun, interactive and educational environment.

Participating in the group lessons allows students to learn not only how to play individually, but as a part of a group: something all musicians must learn to master.Private Lessons run weekly for 30 minutes and are customized specifically to the student's skill level, personal goals, and music choices.

Every band is looking for a great bass player! In a band setting, the bass works with the drummer to form the rhythm section. In lessons, bassists focus on some of the theory behind chords, how to use different rhythms and notes to create grooves, as well as being able to follow bass clef notation.

Our Piano Plus Program introduces students ages 7 to 10 to music through the piano. These semi-private lessons (2/3 students per class) focus on providing foundational elements of music in an interactive playful environment. At the forefront of every musical journey, we find it necessary for students to not just learn an instrument, but to experience all the ingredients of music and how it applies to the instrument.

Jack's offers weekly, 30 minute private drum lessons for ages 7 and up. Students learn the essential drum rudiments and how to read rhythmic figures and incorporate the different style beats to songs varying from rock to jazz to funk. The drums are one of the leaders of the band as they provide the steady beat, and can drastically change the feel of the song depending on the groove they are playing.
