Whether young or old, beginner or master, our students grow, with faculty support, in understanding what music is and can be. Our various programs, including Music Together and Private Music Lessons, encourage students to develop a love for music, to take risks and gain the confidence to succeed, in music and in life.

Whatever your musical interest, our accomplished and caring faculty will support you in reaching your musical ambitions. Every student at Pakachoag can be successful, with practice and the skilled support and guidance of their teacher. This month we feature Sophie. More About Music Together
Report
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, also kindergarteners and first graders (Rhythm Kids ), and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.
About
Report
At Pakachoag, we're all about creativity. In particular, we challenge students to stretch for high standards, take risks, and recover from mistakes. As a result of that commitment, we're helping students gain the confidence needed to succeed. And, that success accompanies not only music making, but transfers to all areas of life.
Faculty
Report
One of the reasons our students say they love Pakachoag is because of the special connections they develop with their teachers. Our faculty are all experts in their assigned area of instruction. Additionally, most of our private lesson teachers are active performers, as well as caring teachers. This means we take time to understand your needs, and will work with you to find the best placement.
Short / Long Term
Report
The arts live within our spirit; they are fundamental to our humanity and place in the world. Assessing the impact of arts on learning offers challenges in that the arts, by their very nature, are qualitative. As a result, gathering statistics or numbers often misses the true, lasting change that occurs when a student engages in making and presenting art.
Alumni
Report
Pakachoag Music School alumni are making Music for Life! No matter whether our students go on to college, pursue a trade, join the military or learn a craft, we hope that all of our students will make music a part of their life - for life. Joel shares, "I am currently the Principal of Academic Affairs for the Towanda Area School District."
