Pine Grove Crematorium was designed and has been operated since 2007 by Brookings-Smith, a family owned and operated funeral home. Special care was taken with the design so that it fits into the surroundings of gracious old pine trees along the slopes of a lovely field in Bangor.

Peace-of-Mind Cremation Process
Report
Proper identification of remains at the funeral home or cremation provider is a key part of the cremation process. At our facility, we confirm that the remains that are labeled on the cremation container, match tagged identification of your loved one. Your loved one's information is logged onto our received remains tracking log which is signed by the funeral home or cremation service that is providing the transportation.

When determining what cremation equipment to purchase for Pine Grove Crematorium it was determined that we wanted to have fuel efficient cremators, a dustless environment, and ease of operation for the staff. After review of several manufacturers we found that B & L Cremation Systems had the system and ancillary equipment to meet our needs.
