Direct Cremation Of Maine made what was a difficult time in our lives a very comforting experience. Amy was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a more caring and helpful individual to guide us along the way. I feel she went above and beyond what one should expect and their services are very reasonably priced. Even though we lost a loved one, Direct Cremation of Maine made the process seamless. I would highly recommend them and if the occasion arises again, I wouldn

Direct Cremation of Maine, and Amy who assisted us, made the process easy and less stressful than the local funeral home in Ellsworth made the process for my husband when his mother passed away in August. I will proudly recommend Direct Cremation of Maine to everyone.

When the nurse at the hospice house called, she told the funeral home to be sure to come with two people because my husband was a large man - almost 300 pounds. One man arrived, and when the nurse asked why he came alone, she was told "sometimes people exaggerate". When it came time to bring him out to the hearse there was a very slight decline going out to the hearse and he couldn't stop the gurney, he overshot the hearse, tried to turn the gurney and it looked like it was going to tip over.
