20 years ago, I hopped on a plane with my Mom and Sister to fly away from all I had ever known to pursue the American Dream. They said in America, you can become whatever you want when you grow up. For many years, I focused on my education and on excelling in school - artistic creativity was never top of mind for me growing up.
