I had such a great experience with Kate at Pacifica Studio! She was warm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout the session. She took the time to ask what my headshots were for so she could recommend the right style and background colors to fit both my needs and my outfit. Kate gave helpful guidance on posing, and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. The photos turned out beautifully, and her touchups were subtle yet professionalexactly what I was hoping for. Kate is incredible talented! I booked the "A few good headshots package" for my upcoming ERAS residency application and couldn't be happier with the results. Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with, very professional, friendly and clearly dedicated to capturing the best possible angles and expressions. This was my first time working with a professional photographer. I picked Pacifica Studio because of its excellent reviews and I wasn't disappointed.
I wanted high-quality photos for social media and had some vague, but very specific ideas on what I wanted them to look like. Kate worked with me to understand my requirements and then used her professional experience to figure all the details.

My experience Kate exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, I was provided with ample information for my appointment (what clothes to bring, location of studio, what will be included in the package, etc.). Kate made me feel very welcome and comfortable, as I was a bit uneasy with my first time being professionally photographed. I ended with nearly 60 photographs for my use and a few that she offered touch ups and edits (as included in package I chose). I feel like I got a lot from this experience, aside from the photos. I highly recommend her services and will bring up her studio anytime in further discussions regarding professional/corporate headshots. You will not be disappointed with your experience when booking with Kate and Pacifica Studio!

Kate did an excellent job taking photos for me. Her photography style is very natural and captures daily life beautifully. Although we booked for 1 hour, the session ended up lasting over 2 hours, as Kate made sure I was completely satisfied with the results. She was incredibly patient and attentive to my needs.
We explored multiple spots on the Stanford campus, and at each location, Kate took the time to find the best angles, considering the background, lighting, shadows, and overall composition. In the end, the retouch part is also very detailed and of great quality. I highly recommend her business to any potential customers.

Kate is an incredibly professional photographer! I needed a senior yearbook portrait and she made sure to carefully follow all of my school's requirements. I even forgot to bring a shirt, and she generously offered me one. Kate suggested different angles and backdrops, and her recommendations turned out to be spot-on. The final photos look amazing! It is at her home studio and it was very easy and pleasant to work with her! She def went the extra mile to help me get the good shots i needed. We got to shoot with different color backgrounds and different jackets and poses. This was my first time so I didnt know anything of what looked good but she def helped and i had my bf also with me to tell me what smile and colors looked good.
Would def recommend and i used my photos for my directory and LinkedIn In photos! She will retouch and size appropriately as well. Thank u Kate!!
