Bottomless Brunch: the frittata and bolognese were fine, but the rest of the food was less than mediocre and the cheesecake was dry and flavorless. The grappa/espresso was great, but drinks not included with the Bottomless Brunch. The ambiance is pleasant, the service is clearly intentionally European styled, but the waiters are prompt when prompted. The hostess (also owner) asked for my vaccine card and ID when I entered. Making a reservation for 4 through Google Maps was very easy. 3 stars due to the quality of food, everything else was fine or pleasant.

Definitely one of my top favorite restaurants when in DC! For starters the server was super helpful and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. He also gave us advice on what was better etc. The bread is fantastic, very flavorful. We got the 3 cheese appetizer and picked the Parmesan, provolone, and truffle cheese (I don't remember the Italian words for these sorry!) We got the Super Tuscan Italian wine blend which was very good. The pasta was also phenomenal with great flavors. I will definitely be back here when I'm in town again!

First, when you "check in," it might show a 15% discount. They said they DONT like it and were hesitant to recognize it. The manager said they tried to cancel it. If you go for the discount, maybe go someplace else.
HOWEVER, don't let that impact your overall decision to dine here. Great atmosphere, nice outdoor options when it is warm, and the inside is very nice.
Had the Ragu Calabrese with spicy pork. It was very good. Lots of sauce and pork in every bite. Also tried the eggs avocado. It was creamy and tasty. Worth noting the bread and olive oil were so good.

Giving this a 2.5. Pretty disappointed with my recent visit here on a Saturday. The decor is adorable and the name itself is very novel, so I had to step inside (points for the cute atmosphere! Maybe you could just come here for drinks and appetizer and that's it). The best dish I had was the appetizer and it seemed to go downhill from there. We ordered the beet salad - gold and red beets, which were gorgeously plated with dollops of vinaigrette and cream sauce. Fresh and light. Then I ordered a pasta with mushroom and truffle sauce. It was way too heavy on the truffle flavoring (not really

Went for a date night and was not disappointed. The restaurant was extremely busy but our server still did a good job waiting on us. The food was delicious, prepared in an authentic Italian style. The dcor of the restaurant is a bit dated and very cluttered, but it's still a charming little spot nonetheless. Overall I really enjoyed my dinner there.

What is wrong with that awful woman that worked as a hostess on Sunday November 7th? She was incapable of being polite, and seemed to only be able to be flat-out rude. She ruined the meal the moment we walked in the door. She is in her 50's or 60's and has dark hair. I wouldn't doubt it if she was an owner or related to an owner. I give this place only a few more months of being open if she continues to chase away their customers.
