My appointments with Dr.Shama are always pleasant and informative. She puts me at ease as soon as she enters the room with her warm, friendly smile. I went to Wilshire family medicine to see if I could have a long-term care primary doctor or a nurse.
I moved from Washington here to Texas.
I can't believe how bad the medical care system is here in Texas I went to this place expecting Wilshire family medicine to be well knowledged well managed and well taken care of I have not felt well taken care of by will shower family medicine.
They can't even read an x-ray let alone get back to you with what they need to get back to you with they do not help you in any way and misinform you a lot I thought I had a fracture in my wrist so I went to the

I did not feel cared for or supported by Dr. Shama. When I tried to ask her at multiple appointments about treatment options, she would ask me what treatment I had in mind instead of telling me options. If you want a doctor that will allow you to self-diagnose and choose your own treatment, this may be the right fit for you.

Went in for a dog bite, every one is super friendly and the nurse practitioner (I believe that's what you call her) was very good at what she does. she prescribed medication wrapped me up and sent me on my way after squeezing me in at the end of the day. They all are extremely professional and super helpful. Of course I am not a doctor/in the medical field. But the medicine she prescribed me with really helped the pain a was feeling in my finger, I can actually bend it without feeling moderate pain all day and it's not to strong to have me feeling funny. I hate when doctors just try and drug you

Dr. Shama is very professional and listened to my concern and then was able to discuss with me treatment and options for my concern. I did have to wait past my appointment time to be seen but was not in a rush and she gave me the same thorough attention she gave her other patients. Highly recommend.

Dr. Shama is a blessing. I haven't been to the doctor in many years. I have put so much of my health on the back burner that I walked in with a list of health concerns that I wanted to address. I was a tad bit embarrassed with my list but she smiled and we addressed every single concern. If you are wanting someone with patience, understanding, honesty, and a sense of humor Dr. Shama is the one for you!! She even took the time after my list to ask questions about my family. If I could give negative stars, I would. Dr. Shama was extremely unprofessional during my visit and made me feel unsafe and unwelcome, even going so far as criticizing my physical appearance which had nothing to do with my visit at all. They failed to ask me multiple questions that are on my visit summary, which now have wrong answers and surely affected my diagnosis and treatment. I did not feel like I had any choice in my medical decisions during my visit and on top of that, they took blood, outsourced it, and billed me later after assuring me multiple times that what I paid at the end of my
