His certifications are the Diplomate American Board of Anesthesiology and Diplomate American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Smalley attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He was trained in anesthesia at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He went on to specialize in interventional pain management through a fellowship program at the University of Cincinnati. He holds two board certifications one in anesthesia and the other in pain management.
