For more than 25 years, Agawam Boat Charters has offered private fishing and sightseeing excursions for up to 6 guests in the Essex River, Ipswich, and the waters surrounding Cape Ann. Whether you choose fishing or sightseeing you will make lasting memories. Our second year out with Captain Ted. Last year we went out twice, once to check lobster traps the other to sight-see.
This year we did a four hour inner harbor fishing trip. We had a group of 5, everyone caught 3-4 fish each. We kept 2 for dinner tonight. My first time fishing and Captain Ted had just the right amount of instruction and help to make everyone comfortable. And, he knows where the fish are! Thanks Captain Ted! We'll be back!

The Reel Thrills Too is a 25' Parker Sport fisherman powered by a 350 horsepower Mercruiser Inboard/Outboard engine able to reach speeds of up to 30 knots. It provides a safe, stable ride while also being small enough to maneuver in tight or shallow estuary areas.
The boat is equipped with a bathroom, freshwater sink, live-well, saltwater bait well, fresh and saltwater washdowns, lobster hauler, audio system, VHF radio, outriggers, and gin pole for getting those monster fish on the boat.We carry full Coast Guard safety gear.

Ted Marshall is the captain and owner of Agawam Boat Charters. He has enjoyed taking passengers downriver for fishing and sightseeing excursions for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce and Boatsetter. He holds a USCG licensed 100-ton Master Mariner license and is a licensed commercial Striped Bass and Giant Bluefin Tuna fisherman.
